Luke 15 has several parables in it about seeking and finding that which was lost. In these parables, we get an amazing picture of some of God’s characteristics and how he relates to us. It is the Lord’s pleasure and joy to seek and to save those that have been lost.
“It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.” Luke 15:32
