Often as Christians we can feel powerless to live the life that God calls us to live. When we see the reality of our sin and our weaknesses we can easily become discouraged and burned out. But God has given us all we need; He supplies the power, love and self-control through his Holy Spirit and we can trust and rely on that provision in the face of opposition. “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7
