In the Old Testament, Moses had to wear a veil over his face after meeting with the Lord because the Israelites could not gaze upon it in their sin. But now through Christ the veil has been lifted and we can walk into the presence of the Holy God and we are free to live in obedience.
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
