When Adam turned from God and ate of the fruit, two curses came upon us: one on our physical world and one on our souls as mankind. The second curse has amazingly been dealt with through Christ our Savior and his death and resurrection. But the first curse is still in full force, not to be dealt with until the fullness of time. “For all our days pass away under your wrath; we bring our years to an end like a sigh.” Psalm 90:9
