When Jesus began his ministry on the earth, his message was all about how God’s kingdom was at hand. He spoke over and over again about what the kingdom was like and gave many stories and analogies for us to understand it. Living in the kingdom of God is all about the greatness of our God and his gracious relationship with us.
“He said therefore, ‘What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.’” Luke 13:18-19
