In Exodus 18, Moses meets with his father-in-law for the first time in a while. In this conversation we see two significant parts. The first is a recount of all that the Lord has done and the second is a key piece of advice for Moses' leadership.
"Then Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them in the way, and how the Lord had delivered them." Exodus 18:8
