Small Groups

Why small groups?

At Desert’s End, we value connection and living out the calling to love others. That’s why we gather in Missional Communities (MC)—small groups of people who meet weekly or bi-weekly to grow in faith, build deep relationships, or live on mission in the everyday stuff of life.

Each community is centered around a shared focus—whether it’s diving into Scripture, serving others, or reaching specific groups with the love of Christ. No matter where you are in your walk with Jesus, there’s a place for you here.

Current Missional Communities:

  • Equipping the Saints MC – Focused on studying the Bible, practical application, and spiritual growth | Led by Owen and Barrie
  • International Student Ministry MC – Creating welcoming spaces for international students to experience Jesus and authentic community | Led by Devin and Keegan
  • Service MC – Meeting real, practical needs in our church and city with servant-hearted love | Led by John and Ethan
  • Worship MC – Pursuing God and leading others in worship with excellence, creativity, joy, and purpose | Led by Mike and Jason
  • Missions Support MC – Encouraging and caring for those on the global mission field and helping our church stay connected to God’s mission around the world | Led by Ryan and Daniel

How do I join?

If Desert’s End has been your home church for a while and you’re ready to dive deeper in community, grow in faith, and live on mission, we’d love to help you get connected.

Talk to a church leader after the service—we’d love to help you find the right group.

Why are they called Missional Communities?

A missional community is a family of disciples united in a common service and witness. Learn more about missional communities by watching Jeff Vanderstelt’s explanation below.
