Often in our lives, we come to God for what he can give us or what we want him to fix for us. But as Christians, we can and should see the Lord Almighty as our rich and great reward and come to him as our highest satisfaction. Too often we wander in the desert instead of following our Shepherd into the Promised Land.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Psalm 23:1-3
