As Paul begins his letter to the church in Corinth, a church with many problems, you might expect him to jump right into his corrections with frustration. But we see just the opposite. Paul tells them of his thankfulness and reminds them of all that the Lord has done and will do for them.
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9
