The idea that there are God given roles between men and women can be a difficult and debated topic. But scripture is clear that God had a specific design in mind when he made male and female in his own image. There is a glory in walking out those God given roles, but there is also grace as we figure out how we should do so.
“Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.” 1 Corinthians 11:11-12
