This Sunday we went through Exodus 30 and 31. The altars of incense shows a picture of worship as the prayers go unto the Lord and bring a reminder of our atonement in Christ. In the census and the observing of the Sabbath, we see and remember how God alone is authority and anchor of life. We are to ask, through our own rhythms of life, are we abiding in Christ?
And the Lord said to Moses, “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.
