The Christian life is a life of growth and change, not to become better versions of ourselves, but to become more like Christ himself. This change happens over a lifetime and only by the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As our lives grow closer to the Lord and we are changed from the inside out.
“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
