We know that our God is good. At least intellectually we can assent to that fact, but we can really struggle to believe it in our lives and to walk as though it's true. The psalmist, King David of Israel, wrote of God's goodness to him in Psalm 34 and called those who would listen to taste and see, to look around and experience, that God is good to them and to respond with reverence and fear of our good God. "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." Psalm 34:8-10
